Transportation & Planning
The PID also provides funding for transportation, planning and special projects that benefit Downtown.
Notably, the PID has facilitated and played a role in the creation of Downtown design standards, the Downtown public art plan, Downtown wayfinding signage, historic markers, more suitable parking meter rates and times, the no meter feeding ordinance, Lancaster advocacy, two way street conversions and other transportation improvements.
