Bass Hall

There are a number of performances happening at Bass Hall that are sure to get you in the holiday spirit. From Irving Berlin’s White Christmas to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, the sounds of Christmas will fill Bass Hall. If it’s the classics you’re after, enjoy the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra as they accompany the soundtrack to a live screening of It’s a Wonderful Life. Sundance Square Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

November 18

Enjoy the magic of the holiday season with the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Sundance Square Plaza! The Inspiration Band will take the stage at 5:30pm, and the countdown to light the live, 65-foot tall tree begins at 6:30pm. Learn more here.

He’s making a list, checking it twice – Santa Claus is coming Downtown! You will find Santa in the heart of Sundance Square Plaza, and all proceeds from the Santa visits will benefit the Fort Worth Sister Cities International Youth Program. New this year- no more waiting in long lines to see Santa! Upon arrival at the Santa set, you will check in with your telephone number, and then you will receive a text when it is your time to visit with Santa. XTO Energy Parade of Lights 

Downtown Fort Worth

November 19

Experience A Postcard Christmas at the XTO Energy Fort Worth Parade of Lights! This holiday tradition celebrates its 35th year with over 100 floats, giant illuminated balloons, performing groups, local community groups, and more. Free viewing areas and reserved seating options are available to enjoy this spectacular parade. Learn more here.

Let us cook the turkey this year! Many Downtown restaurants are serving up your favorite holiday traditions on Thanksgiving day.  Make your reservations today.  New Year’s Eve is right around the corner! Motown Christmas

Jubilee Theatre

November 24 – December 24  

This Jubilee Theatre Christmas debut is a must-see performance series! This lively, family-friendly musical is filled with Motown Christmas favorites including Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, and Jackson 5. Learn more here. 

 

Christmas Shopping in Sundance Square

Holiday shopping for your entire family has never been so easy. Sundance Square spans over 35 blocks of Downtown, and is filled with over 20 shops. You’ll find toys, clothes, sports apparel, jewelry, and more in the shops of Sundance Square.
