On The Street

We're proud of Downtown's cleanliness and beauty, but it doesn't happen by chance. We have many programs in place to ensure Downtown continues to be a place you're proud to call home and your friends love to visit.

Downtown Urban Design District Guidelines and Standards
In recent years, areas of Downtown Fort Worth have been immensely successful in attracting people back to the central city to live, work, play, shop, and learn. The success of downtown can be partially attributed to the authentic urban quality of these areas. This urban quality has been preserved in some buildings, streets, and corridors such as along Main Street and in Sundance Square. It has also been recreated in other places such as the Firestone and Hillside neighborhoods, Trinity Bluff and along Houston and Throckmorton Streets.
