Arnold Park

700 Samuels Avenue Fort Worth, Texas

Tennis anyone?

Set in one of Fort Worth’s oldest residential communities, Arnold Park provides almost an acre of recreational green space for residents in the growing Samuels Avenue and Uptown neighborhoods. The park board acquired the site in late 1910-early 1911 and expanded the area again in 1914 as a result of George Kessler’s 1909 Park Plan for Fort Worth. It is named after the city’s founder, Major Ripley Arnold, who established a military outpost a short distance away on the bluff (now the area occupied by Heritage Park.).
The park is nestled between Cold Springs Road, Clear Lake Street, and Woods Avenue. Park amenities include children’s playground equipment, benches and a tennis court.
