Hillwood will be opening an office in downtown Fort Worth at The Carnegie in Sundance Square. Hillwood Energy will be the main occupant of the 9,000-square-foot space, which will serve as the division’s primary regional office. The energy division previously officed at AllianceTexas. Hillwood Properties and Hillwood Urban also will utilize the space as a satellite office.

The Carnegie is a 16-story, 303,362-square-foot, Class A office and retail building on the western side of Sundance Square. It was built in 2008.

“Our decision to move Hillwood Energy to downtown Fort Worth allows us to work more closely with our regional partners and service providers, while also strengthening our ability to foster new relationships in the community and within the oil and gas industry,” said Mark Rollins with Hillwood Energy. Rollins added that the location also will help the company attract top talent.

“Having a presence in downtown Fort Worth is an essential component in our plans to broaden our current operations at AllianceTexas and to grow our business throughout the region,” Mike Berry, president of Hillwood, said in a statement. “In 1988, when Hillwood first launched, I had the opportunity to work downtown, so it’s exciting to have things come full-circle almost 30 years later.
