Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the finest salad sources in Fort Worth, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best places to meet your veggie needs.

Fort Worth-area consumers usually spend more in April at restaurants than most other months of the year, according to data on local business transactions from Womply, a software provider that helps small business owners build an email marketing strategy. Estimated daily customers at Fort Worth-area restaurants grew to 53 per business in April of last year, second only to March with an average of 56, and 2% higher than the average for the rest of the year.

1. Spiral Diner & Bakery
First on the list is Spiral Diner & Bakery. Located at 1314 W. Magnolia Ave., the bakery and diner, which offers salads, pastries and more, is the highest-rated salad destination in Fort Worth, boasting four stars out of 765 reviews on Yelp.

2. Horseshoe Hill Cafe
Next up is North Side's Horseshoe Hill Cafe, situated at 204 W. Exchange Ave. With 4.5 stars out of 338 reviews on Yelp, the traditional American steakhouse, serving salads, steaks and more, has proved to be a local favorite.

3. Gyro & Kabob Grill
Wedgwood's Gyro & Kabob Grill, settled at 7660 McCart Ave., is another prime choice, with Yelpers giving the Mediterranean and Lebanese eatery, which is known for its salads and more, 4.5 stars out of 196 reviews.

4. Salata
Finally, there's downtown Fort Worth's outpost of the Salata chain, a restaurant that specializes in salads, soups and wraps, with four stars out of 93 Yelp reviews. Head over to 520 Commerce St. to give it a try for yourself.
