The best Fort Worth restaurants for Mother's Day brunch 2022

Mother's Day is on the horizon May 8, and there are all sorts of ways to show you care, but the one we care about here is dining out.

Restaurants are hosting brunch and/or dinner, with some still offering options for dining-in or taking-out. The opportunity to make reservations is already underway, and some events may already be sold out.

Here are the Fort Worth restaurants serving Mother's Day feasts, and like your love for Mom, this list will grow and grow (celebrations take place on May 8 unless otherwise noted):

Bacchus Kitchen + Bar. Brunch at Grapevine restaurant includes pastry basket, cheese & charcuterie, choice of entrees such as Buffalo fried chicken sandwich, grain salad with shrimp, bikini sandwich with jambon & egg, plus mimosa bar, and dessert station with cookies, brownies, lemon tart, and more. $80. 817-251-3040.

Blue Mesa Grill. Brunch features biscuits & gravy, migas, enchiladas, Adobe Pie, omelets, migas, huevos rancheros, chicken & waffles, chimayo corn, salads, fruit, and house-made desserts including churros and strawberry shortcake. Includes mimosas. $30, or $7 for 11 and under. Extended hours: 8 am-4:30 pm. Fort Worth, 817-332-6372.

Capital Grille. Brunch specials include mimosas, lobster frittata with poached lobster tails, and flourless chocolate-espresso cake, plus a la carte dinner options available all day. 11 am-2 pm.

Carrabba's. Special entrées include filet Marsala featuring a 9-oz filet mignon with mushrooms and Lombardo wine sauce, and a tomato Caprese with fresh burrata. The Tramonto in Tuscany cocktail has Lunazul Blanco tequila, sour mix, OJ, and Bonizio Rosso, and there's Berries & Butter Cake for dessert. Dine-in or takeout.

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. Special Strawberry Sweet-tart cocktail features vodka, raspberry, pineapple juice, strawberry puree, and sliced strawberries for $7.49, available only in-restaurant, served in a limited edition, take-home glass. Family Bundles feeding 4-6 include choice from chicken tenders, salmon, or a combo with two sides and croissants, starting at $27.

The Classic at Roanoke. Special three-course Mother's Day lunch from 11am to 3 pm includes choice of beef tenderloin medallions, pan-seared salmon, chicken breast, vegetarian radiatore pasta, and more. $50 per adult or $30 per child; reserve online or call 817-430-8185.

Corner Bakery. Moms get a complimentary sweet bakery item with the purchase of any lunch or dinner entrée. May 7-8.

Eddie V's. Three-course brunch menu includes lobster quiche, avocado with jumbo lump crab, and cocktails such as mimosas, bloody marys, and bellinis. 10 am-2 pm. $49, or $15 for 12 and under. 214-890-1500.

El Chingon. Mexican restaurant and bar in the West 7th area is celebrating "Festa della Mamma, both on Sunday, May 8 and on Tuesday, May 10 for Mexican Mother’s Day. From 11 am-3 pm May 8, they'll treat mothers to special brunch offerings: a paleta tower and the choice of two brunch items, priced at $125; or a mimosa tower and the choice of two brunch items, priced at $75. On May 10, they'll also offer offer a paleta tower along with two taco flights priced $125, 11 am-8 pm. El Chingon will offer a special frozen pink paleta, Rum to Mamma, made with coconut rum and a Tajín rim, priced at $11. 817-870-9973.

La Madeleine. Bakery cafe chain has two heart-shaped cheesecakes for Mother's Day: Raspberry cheesecake topped with raspberries, and chocolate ganache cheesecake with a chocolate cookie crust, chocolate cheesecake filling, and chocolate ganache on top. $9.29 each. Mimosas featuring a single-serving carafe of orange juice and a mini-bottle of J. Roget champagne are $6.

Logan's Roadhouse. Regular menu plus special 12-ounce Prime Rib, with choice of two sides, or bacon mac & cheese and red wine-garlic mushrooms, available only during Mother’s Day weekend. First 50 moms to dine in at any Logan’s on May 8 get a free, limited-edition koozie. May 6-8, open early at 10 am.

Malai Kitchen. Special brunch menu includes seared scallops, Alaskan halibut, soft-shell crab curry, Vietnamese coffee cake, strawberry lemongrass martini, and botanical garden cocktail. 11 am-3 pm. Southlake 817-251-9141, Fort Worth 682-707-3959.

97 West Kitchen & Bar. Brunch at Hotel Drover with bananas Foster Belgian waffles, French toast, chicken kale Caesar, giant cast-iron cinnamon roll, apple-churro pancakes, avocado toast, hot chicken & biscuits, plus special Mama Knows Best cocktail with peach, lemon, rose, and Plantation Pineapple Rum, and a Build Your Own Momosa bar. 8 am-3 pm. Perry's. Mother’s Day feature consists of Perry's Filet Stuffed Roast: Filet mignon stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, garlic, onion, fresh herbs, and three cheese for $49. Brunch cocktails including brandy milk punch, bloody Mary and mimosas, 11 am-4 pm. Family-style filet stuffed roast meal for four for $179 or an individual filet stuffed roast for $49 to-go.

Pluckers. Wing chain with 28 flavors of sauce is giving moms a free meal, although the offer is valid only for Pluckers Club Members. A membership costs $20, which gets you other free things if you join. Way to use Mother's Day as a membership pitch, Pluckers.

Razzoo's Cajun Cafe. Two special dishes returning for Mother's Day include shrimp en brochette with bacon-wrapped shrimp stuffed with jalapeno; and Creole pork chops with two boneless pork chops, breaded and fried, then topped with jalapeño cheese sauce. (They'll be available through July.)

Romano's Macaroni Grill. Italian chain will be serving two specialty dishes in honor of Mother’s Day from May 6-8: Gorgonzola steak featuring a 10-ounce sirloin with a gorgonzola butter topping, sautéed spinach with roast garlic, and mashed potatoes, $30; 8-ounce Atlantic salmon over capellini pasta with artichokes, mushrooms, capers, and citrus lemon butter sauce, $26.

Ruth's Chris Steak House. Three-course feast with choices from steak house salad, Caesar, lobster bisque, steak & shrimp, steak & lobster, twin tails, creamed spinach, or garlic mashed potatoes. $57-70, available May 6-8. Plus Veuve Clicquot Brut by the glass, or Flowers Chardonnay/Flowers Pinot Noir by the bottle. Takeout feast for four comes with salad, entrée, two sides, and dessert for $195. SusieCakes. Mother's Day treats include wreath decorated cake, cupcake box, and daisy decorated cake. Available May 2- 8, 11 am-5 pm. 817-813-2253.

Toro Toro Fort Worth. "Dia de las Madres" bottomless brunch, with stations throughout the restaurant including ceviche with hamachi tiradito, ahi amarillo ceviche, and shrimp cocktail aguachile; grill station with Wagyu medallions, duck confit tacos, salmon, and prawns; omelet station; dessert station with chocolate cake, macarons, and three corn cake, created by chef Richard Sandoval and his grandmother. Plus mimosas, mango mimosas, mimosa misterioso, mayo mimosa, Michelada, bloody Mary, and bloody Maria. $70. 817-975-9895.

Truluck's. Holiday special is Dungeness crab pappardelle pasta with parmesan and peas in a creamy tomato sauce with Indian spices for $59; and blueberry vanilla cake with cream cheese icing and passion fruit creme anglaise for $18. Exclusive Floradora cocktail has Hendrick's Gin, raspberry syrup, and Fever Tree Ginger Beer, $14.50. 11 am-9 pm. Southlake, 817-912-0500.

Wicked Butcher. Steakhouse in the Sinclair Hotel in downtown Fort Worth will be preparing featured items on an à la carte menu for Mother’s Day brunch, including Cauliflower Soup, Fried Artichokes, Wicked Eggs, Tuna & Foie Gras Torchon, Nutella Stuffed French Toast, Seared Salmon, Shrimp & Grits, Dry-Aged Ribeye, Tomahawk Chop, Olive Oil Cake, and much more — including special cocktails. 11 am-pm, 682-231-8214.
