Pieces of art from more than 200 artists will line the streets around Sundance Square this weekend for Main Street Arts Fest.

The artists began setting up their tents Thursday morning. One of them was a festival regular who incorporates wildlife into her work.

Conservation artist Anne London also encourages the next generation of conservationists each year. Her work inspired 13-year-old Austin Haines to raise money to protect an orphaned albino elephant in Africa.

“I saw these beautiful paintings. I was like, ‘What are those?’ And then after that, I see this beautiful elephant picture that was gray and it had like this beautiful touch to it and I loved that. And I was like, ‘Elephants! That’s the one I’m going to pick on my endangered species.’ And so she helped me and she still does and I am so grateful for that,” Haines said.

“I like people who never would have thought about animals going, ‘Oh, I didn’t know that about animals and how they behave that way.’ That gives me great joy,” London said.

In addition to the artwork, the festival features food, fun and music. It runs through Sunday.
