First Saturdays in Sundance Square
Monthly celebration in Sundance Square Plaza features a market of local vendors and food trucks. Street closures include, 3rd and 4th Streets from Houston to Commerce Streets, and Main between 2nd and 3rd Streets, and Main between 41th and 5th Streets. E. Belknap St.
Belknap St – Pecan St to Nichols St
Anticipated Start Date: May 11, 2026, End Date: June 5, 2026
- Two lanes will be closed during this period. One lane of traffic will be open. Expect delays.
No Construction Activity: From June 8, 2026, to July 19, 2026, for the FIFA World Cup event. Resume construction on Belknap St – July 20, 2026, End Construction – July 31, 2026.

· Buyers Barricades will close both northbound lanes of Commerce Street between 5th Street and 6th Street beginning at 10:00 p.m.
· During the closure, both northbound and southbound traffic will be shifted into the southbound lanes through the work zone.

Street Closures from approximately 7:00AM - 1:00PM
N.Main Street southbound from NE/NW 4th Street into downtown will be closed.
Streets between Commerce and Throckmorton from Belknap to 5th Street will be closed.
Taylor Street will be closed between Belknap and Weatherford.
Belknap will be closed from Calhoun to Henderson.
From approximately 10:00AM - 1:00PM Henderson and White Settlement will be closed where they intersect at their respective roundabouts.
Foot traffic only for businesses anywhere on Commerce, Main or Houston Streets downtown from West Weatherford Street at the Court House to E. 6th Street and West Belknap Street to North Henderson Street.
