Fall is finally here! The temps are dropping (a little), the patios are calling, and Downtown Fort Worth is packed with things to do. From festivals and live music to cozy fall flavors and family-friendly fun, there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of the season. We’ve rounded up the top 10 things to do in Downtown Fort Worth this fall!


Sunrise Reset at Omni Fort Worth

Start your Sunday with a moment just for you at the Sunrise Reset on the rooftop of the Omni Fort Worth on Sunday, September 21. Choose between a grounding Yin Yoga and breathwork session at 8:00 a.m. or a Mat Pilates class at 9:00 a.m. Set against the backdrop of the rooftop pool, this 50-minute session is designed to awaken your body and calm your mind. Fall Programming in Burnett Park

Tuesdays through November 25, Wednesdays through November 26

Head to Burnett Park this fall for free programming provided by Burnett Plaza. On Tuesday evenings, grab your yoga mat and head to the park for free yoga classes led by the Downtown YMCA from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. through November 25. On Wednesdays, join us on the north deck to enjoy live music from local Fort Worth musicians, 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., through November 26. 

Movie Nights in Burnett Park

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for Movie Nights in Burnett Park, presented by Burnett Plaza! This fall’s lineup includes How to Train Your Dragon (Sept. 26), Hotel Transylvania (Oct. 24), Lilo and Stitch (Nov. 14), and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Dec. 12).

Complimentary waters will be available in the park, plus food and drinks from nearby favorites like Neighbor’s House Grocery and Picchi Pacchi Pizzeria. Free parking is provided in the First on 7th Garage (upper floors). Learn more here!

10th Annual Michelada Festival in General Worth Square

Experience the 10th Annual Michelada Festival on Sunday, October 12, 2025. What started as a neighborhood gathering has grown into a street party stretching down Main Street and spilling into Sundance Square Plaza. Expect bold flavors, live music, local vendors, and of course, the fan-favorite Best Michelada competition, where mixologists from across DFW battle for the crown. It’s free to attend, full of energy, and all for a good cause supporting a scholarship endowment at Texas Wesleyan University. The Turkey Trot hits Downtown

Get ready to lace up your sneakers for the YMCA Turkey Trot, coming to Downtown Fort Worth for the first time this Thanksgiving season! This family-friendly event celebrates community, fitness, and giving back. Whether you’re running, walking, or bringing the whole crew for a festive morning, it’s a fun way to kick off the holiday and maybe even work off some of that pumpkin pie! GM Financial Parade of Lights

Kick off the holiday season in Downtown Fort Worth with the 43rd annual GM Financial Parade of Lights! This annual tradition lights up the streets with dazzling floats, festive music, and holiday cheer for the whole family.
