Aug. 26: Water main break on Jones Street at East 6th Street. An electrical contractor struck a 24-inch water main in Jones Street at East 6th Street Monday afternoon. Water crews completed the main break repair early this morning, and the line is back in service. Jones Street remains closed between East 6th and East 5th streets. East 6th Street is open at Jones Street. The street repair contractor will assess the situation this morning and determine the process for completing the repairs. “Cheers are supposed to be simple, make people feel good.”

Not only is June Pride Month, but this year is also the 25th Anniversary of the release of Jamie Babbit’s directorial debut, But I’m a Cheerleader. To celebrate, we’re throwing a themed rooftop party! Join in before the screening of this LGBTQ+ classic and enjoy our pre-screening party complete with trivia, a Cheer Off and a costume contest (come dressed as your favorite character)!

The full event schedule includes:
Doors open ticket holders: 6:45pm
Cheer Off: 7:00- 7:15pm
Costume Contest: 7:15- 7:30pm
Trivia Contest: 7:30- 8:00pm
Movie runtime: 8:15pm- 9:45pm
Event ends: 9:45 pm

Cinema seating will be first come, first serve. No outside food or drink allowed. This event is 18+ only. Tickets are not transferable or refundable. Should inclement weather take place while the event is happening guests will be eligible for a $20 credit for a future Rooftop Cinema Club event or screening.
