Fort Worth, TX —- Celebrate OKTOBERFEST at craft beer and bar pioneer Flying Saucer Draught Emporium. Festivities run September 19 - October 4 with German, American and local Oktoberfest tappings, flight specials and Stein hoists, culminating in the ultimate Oktoberfest Party on Saturday, October 3rd.
Daily tappings include Oktoberfest brews from around the world including Manhattan Project Oktoberfest, Turning Point Duke Silver, False Idol Meusebach’s Peace Pipe, Weihenstephaner Festbier, Live Oak Oaktoberfest, Founders Oktoberfest and Celestial Spocktoberfest. Beginning at 11am on Saturday (10/3), Oktoberfest revelers can enjoy three bands on the 8.0. stage from lunch to last call, a stein hoisting competition, German food specials and prizes for best dressed.
At 1pm, Fort Worth’s own Two Guys Walk Into A Bar open the festivities with their signature Texas-style roots music, followed by Dallas-based singer/songwriter Danny Joseph at 4:30pm. DFW based Justin Russell Band wraps up the evening with their contagious “Texas Outlaw Country” beginning at 8:00pm.
Arms out, elbows locked and don’t spill! At 7:30, a men’s and women’s stein hoisting competition with Manhattan Project Beer Company Oktoberfest takes the stage, with prizes for the last one holding. Don your favorite dirndl or lederhosen for a chance to win Flying Saucer gift cards and merch in addition to prizes from local breweries.
Bavarian inspired specials include schnitzel, bratwurst in pretzel buns and iced cinnamon and sugared pretzels.
Flying Saucer Draught Emporium is a neighborhood pub built around great food, and more than 30 years of beer culture. Inspired by the convivial spirit of European pubs, Flying Saucer is known for an extensive rotating selection of more than 200 craft beers, alongside craft cocktails and a full bar, weekly trivia, local teams on the big screens, and the legendary UFO Club.
