Preservation is the Art of the City® is a show and sale of artworks by talented, local artists who were selected by a jury of Historic Fort Worth, Inc. In its 23rd year, this highly popular art show features approximately 60 artists each year. This year’s show is being held at The Amon Carter Center at Lena Pope, 3200 Sanguinet Street, Fort Worth, TX 76107
September 3 – Party with the Artists 5:30-9:00 (First chance to purchase artwork) This is a ticketed event and visit historicfortworth.org for details. The 2026 Honoree is Dr. Asad Dean. The featured artist is Thomas Helmick.
September 4 – Art Show Open 10:00-4:00 Admission is free.
September 5 – Historic Fort Worth’s Gallery Night Noon-4:00 Admission is free.
