Celebrating Inclusion, Mobility & Resilience:

White Cane Day of North Texas Returns to Sundance Square on October 11, 2025

On Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., the vibrant heart of downtown Fort Worth will be transformed into a beacon of celebration and advocacy as White Cane Day of North Texas takes center stage at The Cowboy Hat, 115 W. 3rd Street in Sundance Square.

White Cane Day commemorates the achievements of individuals with blindness or visual impairments and highlights the importance of accessibility, mobility, and inclusivity in our communities. Attendees will kick off the celebration with a symbolic walk to the Tarrant County Courthouse, followed by a short program and festivities designed to raise awareness and honor the contributions of visually impaired individuals.

“This day is more than a walk—it’s a movement,” said organizers from the planning team. “We’re inviting the community to come together in support of independence, respect, and inclusion.”

The event is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring friends, family, and colleagues to stand in solidarity and celebrate the diverse spirit of North Texas.

Event Highlights:

• Community walk to Tarrant County Courthouse
• Inspiring speakers & performances
• Resource sharing & networking
