From ZigZag Moderne to Post-Modern Glass Skyscrapers, Fort Worth has a rich architectural history. The first permanent structures in Fort Worth were 15 log cabins and two wood-frame buildings, built from 1849 to 1853. A few brick buildings were added in the 1850s.
