Cantey Hanger adds three associates

 Three associates have joined Cantey Hanger, one in business and two in litigation.
Ben Parker will focus his practice on probate and estate planning, HOA matters, and
other business transactions. He graduated with a B.S. in Economics from the University
of Texas at Austin in 2022 and received his law degree from the University of Houston
Law Center in 2026. During law school, Ben served on the Business and Tax Law
editorial board and as director of outreach for the Environmental Law Society. Before
joining the firm, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Melody M. Wilkinson of the
17th District Court in Tarrant County.
Tommy Redell earned his B.S. in Economics from Texas Christian University and a
Juris Doctor from Pepperdine’s Caruso School of Law. While at Pepperdine, he earned
certificates in Entertainment, Media and Sports Law, as well as Entrepreneurship and
the Law through the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law. He also served
as co-Chair of Sports for the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. He received CALI
Excellence for the Future Awards in Criminal Procedure and Sports Law.
Brian Roberts is joining as an associate in the litigation section. He graduated with a
B.A. in Economics from the University of Oklahoma’s Honors College. After graduation,
Brian spent two years teaching math in Memphis with Teach for America before joining the U.S. Army as a logistics officer. He then went on to earn his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was an Articles Editor for Jurisprudence Review and served on the board for the student veterans’ organization.
Brian also spent a semester in the Veterans Law Clinic, where he was admitted under
Rule 46 as a student-attorney in the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Upon
graduation, he was awarded the Dean’s Service Award for logging more than 200 pro
bono volunteer hours.
