Dolly Parton film screening to benefit Imagination Library

Fort Worth (KDAF) — Rooftop Cinema Club in downtown Fort Worth is continuing its celebration of Dolly Parton with a special screening of the classic comedy “Nine to Five” on Sept. 25.

The event will also support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, with Rooftop Cinema Club donating 95% of ticket-sale profits to the nonprofit. The organization provides free books to children with the goal of encouraging a love of reading from an early age.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early for a special tribute to Parton featuring State Sen. Taylor Rehmet, highlighting the singer, songwriter and philanthropist’s legacy and impact.
