‘Landman’ begins season 3 filming in Fort Worth

Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” has begun filming season 3.

The Paramount+ series is primarily filmed in and around Fort Worth, including in downtown, at the Stockyards and in the AllianceTexas area. The Star-Telegram put together a map of all the Fort Worth locations in season 2. Production on “Landman” season 3 began on Sept. 24, according a social media post from series star James Jordan. “Up n runnin’ and back after it!” Jordan, who plays Dale, wrote on Instagram. Jordan was not the only “Landman” cast member to announce that production has started. Mustafa Speaks, who plays Boss, shared a similar snap of his trailer on set and a photo of his hard hat. “Back to Business,” Speaks wrote on Instagram.

In addition, Tanner Beard posted a photo of a “Landman” season 3 branded chair on set. “Back in action,” Beard, who plays Marty, wrote on Instagram. “Landman” was co-created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace, and is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.” No release date has been set for “Landman” season 3. The first two seasons premiered in November in their respective years of 2024 and 2025.

In addition to the previously mentioned cast, “Landman” stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Andy Garcia, Paulina Chávez, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, Colm Feore and Mark Collie. Both seasons of “Landman” are streaming on Paramount+.
