An innovative and gorgeous coworking space has opened in Fort Worth's Sundance Square. Called The Maven, it's the first coworking space specifically targeted to women professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs, now open at 505 Main St., next to Mi Cocina and right across from Sundance Square.

The Maven boasts 12,000 square feet with furnished offices, flexible desk layouts, inviting lounges, dining areas, lactation room, private meeting spaces, and a fully equipped conference room.

According to a release, it was designed by Anthropologie Home senior stylist Molly Mozdren, in collaboration with Architect Associates principal Alex Tailer, and Sundance Square Creative Director Sarah Ayala.

“We worked to create a space that reflected The Maven’s inclusive, female-focused, and empowering vision,” Tailer says. “We focused on creating diversity within the space, providing a variety of generously scaled office sizes, each with a unique style, to meet the diverse needs of working women.”

Mozdren describes it as a richly layered space with lots of natural light, with "moments of fun" that include floral wallpaper, coffee and tea stations, and craft candy nooks.

“Having art made by women throughout the space is meant to remind us of what’s possible,” Ayala says. “We wanted the artwork to reflect the energy of the community here and it’s a chance to spotlight and support women artists we admire.”

Sundance Square owner and CEO Sasha Bass says the space sets new industry standards.

"The Maven in Sundance Square was created as a market niche of women-centric coworking spaces, where women can feel safe, empowered, and supported while connecting to a community of like-minded individuals," Bass says. "The spaces are meant to inspire and spark collaborations."

Its location in the heart of downtown also provides amazing views of Sundance Square Plaza.

As a first-of-its-kind concept, The Maven reflects a growing demand for flexible, well-designed workspaces that support entrepreneurship, community-building, and diverse professional needs.

“The Maven is truly a one-of-a-kind office property and we’re proud to lead the leasing effort,” says LanCarte Commercial Real Estate founder Sarah LanCarte.
