Guide: Discover Downtown Living

What does it really look like to call Downtown Fort Worth home?

Over the past few months, Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. has been taking you behind the doors of some of Downtown’s residential communities through our Downtown Residential Tour Series. From historic buildings with unmistakable character to modern high-rise living, each stop offers a different way to experience life in the heart of the city.

If you’ve missed any of our first four tours, here’s a look at where we’ve been so far.

Stop #1: The Harden at Public Market

Our residential tour began at The Harden at Public Market, a residential community located alongside the historic Fort Worth Public Market.

The property offers a modern take on Downtown living while placing residents within walking distance of restaurants, entertainment, businesses, and some of Fort Worth’s most recognizable destinations. It was the perfect place to begin our series and showcase how residential growth continues to add new energy to Downtown.

Stop #2: Deco 969

Next, we headed up for a look inside Deco 969, where luxury high-rise living meets Art Deco-inspired design.

From impressive Downtown views to thoughtfully designed amenities and sophisticated gathering spaces, Deco 969 offers residents an elevated urban lifestyle with the city just outside their door.

Stop #3: Firestone Apartments

For our third tour, we visited Firestone Apartments, offering another unique perspective on living close to everything Downtown Fort Worth has to offer.

With comfortable residential spaces, community amenities, and convenient access to restaurants, entertainment, parks, and nearby destinations, Firestone highlights the ease of making the city part of your everyday routine.

Stop #4: Historic Electric Building Apartments

Our fourth stop took us inside a true piece of Fort Worth history at the Historic Electric Building Apartments.

The property combines the character and architectural details of a historic Downtown building with modern apartment living. It’s a great example of how Downtown continues to evolve while preserving the buildings and stories that make the area distinctive.
