Guide: Sipping Our Way Through Fall in Downtown Fort Worth

Fall has officially arrived in Downtown Fort Worth, and while Texas temperatures don’t always get the memo, our local coffee shops certainly have!

From pumpkin and apple to maple and a little unexpected spice, Downtown’s coffee scene is serving up some delicious seasonal flavors. We stopped by four local favorites to sample their fall-inspired creations, and each brought something a little different to the table.

Here’s what we tried!

1. Buon Giorno Coffee | Apple Crisp Chai 🍎

For the apple lovers

Our first stop was Buon Giorno Coffee, where we traded the traditional pumpkin flavors for something a little different: the Apple Crisp Chai.

This cozy twist on a classic chai latte combines those familiar warm spices with a tart apple flavor that gives the drink a refreshing little kick. It’s a fun take on fall that proves pumpkin doesn’t have to steal the spotlight every season!

2. PAX & Beneficia | Pumpkin Chai 🎃

For the pumpkin spice enthusiasts

Located on the ground floor of the AC Hotel in Downtown Fort Worth, PAX & Beneficia was our next stop for a seasonal favorite: the Pumpkin Chai.

Combining the comforting spices of chai with the familiar flavors of pumpkin, this drink delivers a cozy fall combination. It’s a great excuse to take a coffee break while exploring Downtown, whether you’re starting your morning or looking for an afternoon pick-me-up.

3. Hogan’s Alley | Northside Latte 🌶️

For those who like a little kick

If you’re looking to venture beyond traditional fall flavors, Hogan’s Alley has something worth trying!

The Northside Latte puts a creative spin on hot chocolate by combining espresso and vanilla with a subtle hint of cayenne. The result is a rich, chocolatey drink with just enough spice to make things interesting.

It’s a fun surprise for anyone who enjoys their coffee with a little extra personality!

4. Rio Dulce | Harvest Light Latte 🍁

For the ultimate fall flavor

Our final stop brought us to Rio Dulce for the Harvest Light Latte, and this one definitely tasted like fall!

A delicious blend of caramel and maple with a touch of cinnamon creates a warm, comforting combination that captures the flavors of the season. Sweet, cozy, and full of autumn inspiration, this latte is a great way to wrap up a fall coffee adventure through Downtown.
