Also, come out for the DFW Tour of restaurants in DFW and surrounding cities that are well known for their micheladas. The first tour stop is this Thursday, July 12 for National Michelada Day. Click DFW Tour for more information.
A michelada is a drink that originated in Mexico and can be enjoyed with beer or as a virgin michelada made with mineral water or citrus soda; both options are available at the festival. There are several variations of this delicious concoction that commonly calls for Clamato juice, spices, sauces and may also have shrimp, cucumber, celery, fruit, dried beef, etc. leaving the creativity up to the michelada maker!
