$20 Ticket Lotteries Announced for 'Rent,' Coming to Bass Hall October 17-22

Performing Arts Fort Worth proudly announces lotteries will be held for $20 seats to the groundbreaking musical RENT, playing at Bass Performance Hall October 17-22.

Two hours before each performance, fans can enter a lottery to purchase $20 tickets to that performance. Names will be drawn in the Bass Hall lobby 90 minutes before showtime. Those whose names are drawn can then purchase one or two $20 tickets at the Bass Hall box office. One entry per person. Those entering the contest must be present to win. Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card. Tickets are limited.

The tradition of the $20 tickets began in 1996 in New York when the show moved to Broadway after a sold-out run in a small downtown theatre. The producers of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical are committed to continuing the tradition of offering $20 tickets in each city the show will play.

The show is currently on its 20th anniversary tour.
