Fort Worth boasts the three ingredients needed to successfully usher in a new year, food, drink, and some rug cutting for good measure. Check out our curated list to see where all the hubbub is taking place this year. But don’t sleep on making reservations, these venues are estimated to fill up quickly. So, get your party shoes out and prep for a post-Christmas celebration Cowtown style.

The Fitzgerald

Enjoy an unforgettable evening that features Vegas-style casino games, a live DJ, dancing, a photo booth, and of course the ever-popular Lindsey Smith will be on hand to make her famous balloon art. Zoo Year’s Eve

That’s right folks, this play on words is actually a party for the kiddos. Parents can drop off their kids at the Fort Worth Zoo and head out to their own New Year’s Eve party on Sunday, December 31st starting at 6 p.m. Age ranges are from 6 to 12 years of age. The Sundance Square Plaza is the place to be this New Year’s Eve, which will feature musical performances, food, and beverage vendors, and of course, a countdown to usher in 2024. Celebrate Noon’s Year’s Eve at the Museum of Science and History

Not a night owl? No problem, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History has a New Year’s Eve event planned that is sure to appease the entire family; and it ends at 5 p.m. Attendees will enjoy craft-making while anticipating a fun confetti drop at noon in the museum’s atrium. This event is free with general admission or membership. Clay Pigeon 

Get your grub on at Clay Pigeon. This upscale Fort Worth eatery is offering a New Year’s Eve dinner, that features a four-course prix-fixe menu that boasts optional wine pairings that are sure to help you ring in the new year with class and sophistication. Attendees can choose from halibut meunière cauliflower, a filet mignon with peppercorn sauce, or grilled duck breast cherries as the mains, which all come with a selection of appetizers and desserts. 97 West Kitchen and Bar

Usher in the new year at 97 West, which features a menu that includes wellington bites, arugula salad, and mains like Lobster Ravioli. Then indulge in some devil’s food cake for dessert. This new high-end eatery located inside of the newly opened Crescent hotel is a great place to start the new year, culinary-wise that is. Emelia’s will host a five-course prix-fixe menu that includes sunchoke soup with crème fraiche, truffle and chanterelle spaghetti, and venison with farro risotto. Get your French cuisine on at this new spot created by restaurateur Felipe Armenta and Michelin Star recipient chef/partner Graham Elliot. This New Year’s Eve, Le Margot will offer a six-course dinner that includes oysters with champagne gelee, sturgeon caviar, foie gras, lobster risotto, beef Wellington with black truffles, and chocolate tarte with Chantilly cream and raspberry coulis. Toro Toro

Another spot located inside of a hotel has the goods this New Year’s Eve. Toro, Toro, the Latin steakhouse inside the Worthington Renaissance hotel is all set to serve a five-course New Year’s Eve dinner. However, there will only be two seating times, one at 5 p.m. and another at 8 p.m. Courses include grilled Caesar salad, tuna tartare, A5 Japanese Wagyu steak, with mains that include Argentinian Vacio Steak, Sear Pan Chilean Sea Bass, and Smoked Fideua. Desserts include a Guava Pannacota Sphere, or Buñuelos.
