Another office building goes up for sale in downtown Fort Worth

September 25,2018

Star-Telegram article by Anna M. Tinsley

A downtown office building — this one at the corner of Summit Avenue and Texas Street — is up for sale.

The three-story, 26,332-square-foot office building at 1407 Texas Street had been Simpli.fi’s corporate office. But now that the company is moving its headquarters to the Stockyards, the building is on the market.

“1407 Texas Street provides a rare opportunity to acquire a fully-renovated, centrally-located office building in Fort Worth,” said Matt Montague, vice president of JLL who is leading the marketing and sales effort with JLL Executive Vice President Ryan Matthews.

“Its unique design and architecture offers tremendous flexibility, perfectly suited for creative office users.”

No asking price was available Tuesday for the building, which Tarrant Appraisal District records show was constructed in 1960.

Officials say they are on track to call for offers, through an open bid format, in November.

For more information about the building, call Matthews at 817-334-8101 or Montague at 817-334-8112.
