Chamber to host discussion on evolving workforce

The Fort Worth Chamber will host a timely and important conversation about the evolving workforce on Thursday, June 13. Policy Pulse: The Future of Work will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Fort Worth Club (Bellevue Room 12th Floor).

Featuring Brent Orrell from the American Enterprise Institute, the discussion will focus on strategies to adapt today’s workforce for the future, exploring the challenges and opportunities posed by aging workers, rapid technological change and evolving skill requirements, the chamber said in a news release. The event offers a vital platform for dialogue that will empower leaders across government, business and educational sectors, the release said. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a beer and wine bar will be available.

Orrell is a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, where he works on job training, workforce development and criminal justice reform.
