Downtown Design Review Board unanimously approves final design for The Worth high-rise

30-floor luxury high-rise will include 138 condos
The Fort Worth Downtown Design Review Board (DDRB) unanimously approved the final design for The Worth, Zamco Properties’ 30-story luxury residential condo tower, Thursday, June 7, a news release announced.
“The final design approval by DDRB provides us with the validation of our belief that The Worth is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind building for Fort Worth and will be a stunning addition to the city’s skyline. Our plans are to announce an estimated groundbreaking date in the near future,” Zamco President Robert Zamorano said in the release.
The Worth, which faces West Bluff and is bounded by North Henderson, Mills Street, and West Peach Street, aims to provide an iconic downtown entrance via Henderson Street’s new bridge to be built.
According to the release, The Worth’s 138 homes will feature sweeping balconies showcasing panoramic views of downtown, the Museum District, Trinity River and Panther Island.
“The validation by so many of the important civic entities reinforces our belief that The Worth will answer the city’s demand for a luxury condominium project,” Zamorano said in the release. “It is currently the only high-rise residential project of its kind planned for Fort Worth with an exclusive location that can’t be replicated in the region.”
The final design approval by the DDRB follows the March 1 approval of the conceptual request for an increase in massing and form, submitted by the developer, the release explained.
The release said Downtown Fort Worth Inc and the Trinity River Vision Authority continue their support for The Worth, which has been encouraged by Fort Worth City Council member Anne Zadeh, Andy Taft of DFW Inc and J.D. Granger of the Trinity River Vision Association.
Al Coker & Associates is handling all sales for the project.
