It’s not too early to start making plans for July 4th. In its 11th year, Fort Worth’s Fourth is celebrating our nation’s independence along the Trinity River. The family-friendly festival returns to Panther Island Pavilion on Wednesday, July 4. And as always, general admission, tubing, and KidsZone activities are absolutely free!

Expect a fun-filled afternoon of family activities, tub ing and fly board shows. Plus live music from self-proclaimed America's Favorite Cover band, Poo Live Crew. Food, soda, water, and beer will be available for purchase on site. As the sun goes down, the sounds of Downtown Fever will fill the evening air. The high-energy party band will play dance favorites and pump up the crowd for the spectacular fireworks finale. On the shore stage, 95.9 the Ranch will host three local bands in the Battle of the Bald Eagle Battle of the Bands contest. Flyboarders will also be performing lively shows on the river in between music acts, then right before the fireworks show lights up the sky, the jet-pack flyboarders will light up the river.

Gates Open 2 pm   |   Live Music All-Day   |   Fireworks Show 10 pm

The little ones will love the KidZone area. Parents will love the price tag. Free activities throughout the day will include pony rides, face painting, bounce houses and zip lines. Plus, the ever-popular levee and water slides are back to provide hours of good old-fashioned fun for the young and young at heart.

“As a Presenting Sponsor, Tarrant Regional Water District is proud to be able to provide a free family festival that is available to our entire city,” said TRWD Board Director, Jack Stevens. “It remains very important to us to support a celebration that all can enjoy.”

Back for year four is the VIP experience. Pass holders will enjoy great perks such as an excellent view of the fireworks and water shows, reserved seating and shaded lounge area. Access to a cash bar, air-conditioned bathrooms, and VIP parking pass also sweeten the deal. Best of all is the fully air-conditioned Skybox where guests can get out of the heat and into the cool. The VIP experience promises a comfortable setting with the best view of the largest fireworks show in North Texas. Only a limited number passes will be available and are expected to sell out quickly. VIP passes range from $50-$60 each are available for purchase in advance at fortworthsfourth.com.
