Hillwood is establishing a presence in downtown Fort Worth, opening a 9,000-square foot office at The Carnegie.

The office will serve as a primary regional office for the Hillwood Energy division, as well as a satellite office for the Hillwood Properties and Hillwood Urban divisions. The Class A building is located on the western edge of Sundance Square.

“Our decision to move Hillwood Energy to downtown Fort Worth allows us to work more closely with our regional partners and service providers, while also strengthening our ability to foster new relationships in the community and within the oil and gas industry,” said Mark Rollins with Hillwood Energy. “This central location will also enhance the efficiency of our business development initiatives throughout the region and help us attract top talent.”

Previously located at AllianceTexas, Hillwood Energy’s move to downtown Fort Worth places the firm in closer proximity to many global energy companies. It also provides additional opportunities for the Hillwood Properties and Hillwood Urban divisions to expand their operations beyond the AllianceTexas corridor.

“Having a presence in downtown Fort Worth is an essential component in our plans to broaden our current operations at AllianceTexas and to grow our business throughout the region,” said Mike Berry, president of Hillwood. “In 1988, when Hillwood first launched, I had the opportunity to work downtown, so it’s exciting to have things come full-circle almost thirty years later. We are looking forward to spending more time with our business partners and friends in the central business district, and participating in downtown’s many civic activities and events.”
