Irving Berlin's White Christmas Returns to North Texas

Irving Berlin's White Christmas, the stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, is coming to North Texas this holiday season. The critically-acclaimed musical will play at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth November 14-19, 2017 as part of Performing Arts Fort Worth’s Broadway at the Bass series. This family holiday favorite will roll back into Dallas, where it will play at the Music Hall at Fair Park December 5-10, 2017 presented by Dallas Summer Musicals.

Irving Berlin's White Christmas tells the story of two showbiz buddies putting on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn, and finding their perfect mates in the bargain. Full of dancing, romance, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written, including “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” “Happy Holiday,” “Sisters,” “Blue Skies,” and the unforgettable title song, Irving Berlin's White Christmas promises to be a merry and bright experience for the entire family!

The New York Times exclaims “this cozy trip down memory lane should be put on your wish list.” And, the New York Daily News hailed the show as “a holiday card come to life.”

Tony Award-winning actress Karen Ziemba, currently on Broadway in PRINCE OF BROADWAY, has been cast in the role of Martha Watson. She will be joined by Sean Montgomery as Bob Wallace, Jeremy Benton as Phil Davis, Kerry Conte as Betty Haynes and Kelly Sheehan as Judy Haynes.

The cast also includes Conrad John Schuck as General Waverly, Gil Brady as Ralph Sheldrake, Aaron Galligan-Stierle as Mike Nulty, Cliff Bemis as Ezekiel Foster, and Makayla Joy Connolly and Bella Yantis as Susan Waverly.

The ensemble includes Arlington, Texas native Sarah Fagan, along with Kelly Black, Stephanie Brooks, Darien Crago, Laurie DiFilippo, Drew Humphrey, Bryan Thomas Hunt, Matthew J. Kilgore, Brianna Latrash, Ann-Ngaire Martin, Danny McHugh, Chris McNiff, Bryan Charles Moore, Kristyn Pope, Sean Quinn and Chelsea Williams. 

Irving Berlin's White Christmas features Music and Lyrics by Irving Berlin with Book by David Ives and Paul Blake and is based upon the Paramount Pictures film written for the screen by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama and Melvin Frank.

This production of Irving Berlin's White Christmas is produced by Work Light Productions. The creative team includes direction and choreography by Randy Skinner, scenic design by Anna Louizos, scenic supervision and adaptation by Kenneth Foy, lighting design by Ken Billington, and sound design by Peter Fitzgerald and Erich Bechtel. The tour is produced by agreement with R&H Theatricals, an Imagem Company.
