Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, water crews will conduct a fire hydrant leak repair at Summit Avenue and 10th Street. Two northbound lanes on Summit Avenue between Texas Street and 7th Street will be closed during repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the weekend.

Ramp between I-30, Chisholm Trail Parkway opens

The North Texas Tollway Authority opened a new direct-connector ramp from westbound I-30 to southbound Chisholm Trail Parkway.

As the project nears completion, crews working just west of downtown Fort Worth are continuing their efforts on:
•A new westbound I-30 entrance ramp west of Summit Avenue.
•A new loop ramp from eastbound I-30 to northbound Forest Park Boulevard.
•A new westbound I-30 frontage road entrance ramp to southbound CTP.
•Reconstruction of a westbound I-30 entrance ramp from Forest Park Boulevard and along Parkview Drive.
•Final paving and street improvements along University Drive.
