Have you heard? LOOP has made its way into Downtown Fort Worth and it is something you have to see to believe. Take a seat inside the 12 larger-than-life LOOPs and transport yourself into the fairytales of your childhood. Watch as the still-images within the machine light up and become animated as you pump a lever. The free, interactive art exhibit brought by Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. will be in Burnett Park (West 7th and Lamar Streets) through October 28. Learn more here.

Men on Boats

Circle Theatre

With a one-armed captain and a loyal crew, follow the true(ish) story of the 1869 Grand Canyon expedition. Originally written as an all-male cast, Circle Theatre’s rendition takes a new spin with their all-female cast. Will they survive the wild rapids to change the course of history? Read more here.

Sundance Square

October 20

Don’t be frightened, there are sales (and wine) just around the corner. Taste over 10 unique wines while shopping exclusive deals in the shops of Sundance Square during their annual Spooky Sip & Shop. Halloween in Downtown

Step fright this way, Downtown has some great things to DO. If you’re looking for a monster mash, head to Scat Jazz Lounge for their Roaring 20’s Halloween Party featuring Matt Tolentino and his Seven Piece Band. Wear your best flapper girl or Al Capone get-up and you could go home with a Scat gift card! Need another reason to get in costume? Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus will be hosting their annual Trick or Treat Down “Main Street” where families can enjoy candy, games, and fun for all ages down the main hall of their campus. Bird Café is getting into the spirit of the season with their BOOtiful Blooms event. Create your own pumpkin floral arrangement while enjoying a spooky seasonal menu, craft cocktails, and carefully curated craft beer. If you’re looking for a fright, Flying Saucer will be holding a Movie Night featuring Halloween on none other than Halloween Night. Come on down for a spook-tacular time!
