Artspace111 Seeks Mural Proposals From Texas Artists

Artspace111 is thrilled to announce a call for Texas muralists to design and execute a mural on the exterior of Artspace111’s iconic 109 year old building. The gallery welcomes proposals based on original and innovative ideas from the vision of each artist or artist team. The mural will be located on the North facing wall in Downtown Fort Worth which is passed by 24,000 drivers each day. A project budget of $8000 will be awarded to the artist with the winning mural proposal, and it is free to apply. The deadline to apply is January 15, 2021. Please see full prospectus for details.

About Artspace111
Located in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, Artspace111 specializes in the exhibition of Contemporary Texas Art. In 1980, twin brothers Daniel and Dennis Blagg established Artspace111, converting a historic 1911 building into artist studios and a small gallery space in order to support and celebrate the work of local artists. In 2007, Margery Gossett became the Owner/Director of Artspace111 and further developed the gallery into a celebrated and distinguished 3,000 square foot art gallery. In addition to the year-round schedule of solo and group exhibitions, ArtspaceIII designs corporate and private art collections for clients throughout the country and hosts special events in its distinctive gallery and sculpture gardens.
