The details are in on the 2023 Fort Worth Art Fair (FWAF), coming to Fort Worth's Sundance Square from April 20-23. According to a release, the lineup will feature both artists and musicians, with exhibits and live music every day.

This is the second year for the Fort Worth Art Fair, conceived as a celebration of local art, music, cuisine, and culture, and it focuses on local artists — making it a complementary experience to the  Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival, which focuses on national touring art exhibitors.

Art
More than 100 artists will be on display through participating galleries which include Artspace111, Flatbed Press, Pencil on Paper Gallery, Fort Worth Art Collective, with special guest ACA Gallery.

Art gallery booths will be on display under giant white tents on the east side of Sundance Square Plaza, while live music will be performed on the Plaza stage.

Booths will be dedicated to Fort Worth emerging artists and Fort Worth women artists, as well as Sundance Square artists-in-residence.

Music
The musical lineup includes top local performers and bands with music for all tastes. Each night represents a different genre, as follows:

Thursday April 20: Country music lineup will include Kristyn Harris, Rosie Flores, Ginny Mac, Matt Hilyer, and Summer Dean
Friday April 21: Singer-songwriters HONIN, Taylor Pace, Remy Reilly, Junya, and Lou CharLe$
Saturday April 22: Jazz showcase with Gregory Newman, John Adams Electric Trio, Quamon Fowler, Tatiana LadyMay Mayfield, and the Sundance Square Big Band
Sunday April 23: Dance night with Mariachi Real de Alvarez, Squeezebox Bandits, UNT Latin Jazz Lab, and The Special Edition Band
Food
All 20 Sundance Square restaurants (cash and card) will be open during the fair, as well as a cool sneak peek of Sundance’s newest restaurant, Hopscotch, from Trent and chef Dena Peterson Shashkan (Third Street Market). Located in the former Jamba Juice space, Hopscotch will be serving frozen drinks and snow cones, pastries, snacks, and Loft22 cake slices.

There will also be a public bar in Sundance Square Plaza during the Fair, accepting payment via credit card only.

“Sundance Square is dedicated to supporting our community and continuing to build a place where all are welcome,” said Sasha Bass, CEO of Sundance Square Management. “As such we are proud to support and showcase our local artists and musicians and bring world class art to the city of Fort Worth.”

All art, music, and food/drink venues are open to the public. General admission to the Art Fair is free. Additional details and a full performance schedule can be found at www.fortworthartfair.com.
