April 29,2019

Reposted from Trinity River Vision Authority

It’s not too early to start making plans for July 4th. In its 12th year, Fort Worth’s Fourth is celebrating our nation’s independence along the Trinity River. The family-friendly festival returns to Panther Island Pavilion on Thursday, July 4. And as always, general admission, tubing, and KidsZone activities are absolutely free!

Patrons are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy family activities, tubing and water shows. Plus, live music from self-proclaimed America's Favorite Cover band, Poo Live Crew. Food, soda, water, and beer will be available for purchase on site. As the sun goes down, the sounds of Party Machine Band will fill the evening air. The high-energy cover band will play dance favorites and pump up the crowd for the spectacular fireworks finale. On the shore stage, 95.9 the Ranch will host three local bands in the Battle of the Bald Eagle Battle of the Bands contest. A jet-pack hydroflight show will light up the river to kick off a 29-minute fireworks show which is the largest show in North Texas on July 4.

The little ones will love the KidZone area. Parents will love the price tag. Free activities throughout the day will include horseback rides, face painting, bounce houses, water slides, zip line and more.  Free tubing on the river keeps everyone cool on a hot day.  Attendees can arrive early with pop up tents and blankets to claim their spot for the big show.

“As a Presenting Sponsor, Tarrant Regional Water District is proud to be able to provide a free family festival that is available to our entire city,” said TRWD Board Director, Jack Stevens. “It remains very important to us to support a celebration that all can enjoy.”

A VIP experience is available for those looking for an upgrade. Pass holders will enjoy great perks such as an excellent view of the fireworks and water shows, shaded seating and shaded lounge area. Access to a cash bar with cocktail options, air-conditioned bathrooms, and VIP parking pass also sweeten the deal. Best of all is the fully air-conditioned Skybox where guests can get out of the heat and into the cool. The VIP experience promises a comfortable setting with the best view of the largest fireworks show in North Texas. Only a limited number of passes will be available and are expected to sell out quickly. Purchase a VIP pass before April 24th to receive the early bird special with prices ranging from $45- $55. Tickets can be purchased at fortworthsfourth.com.
