Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, water crews will conduct a fire hydrant leak repair at Summit Avenue and 10th Street. Two northbound lanes on Summit Avenue between Texas Street and 7th Street will be closed during repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the weekend.

Kristie Rodgers and Christian Chavez work in downtown Fort Worth — they had their lunch and listened to live music on April 20 at Burnett Park.

"We come down here whenever we get the chance and it's nice out," Chavez said.

Burnett Park's lunchtime music series kicked off April 20 with violinist and live-looper, or an artist who plays and repeats pieces of music using looping instruments, Zuriel Merek. The series will run through May 25.

Artists will play from noon-1 p.m.Wednesdays at Burnett Park, 501 W. 7th St.
