Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, water crews will conduct a fire hydrant leak repair at Summit Avenue and 10th Street. Two northbound lanes on Summit Avenue between Texas Street and 7th Street will be closed during repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the weekend.

Road Closures Alert: Jan. 24-26 for Construction Crane Removal

The following streets and sidewalks will be closed January 24-26 for the removal of the AC Hotel construction tower crane.

  • 5th St between Houston St and Main St
  • The intersection of Main / 5th 
  • Main St between 4th and 5th 
  • Main St SB between 5th and 6th
  • Main St sidewalk, west curb line, between 5th St and 6th St
  • Access to Embassy Suites and Blackstone will be available via Main St. to 5th St.
