Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, water crews will conduct a fire hydrant leak repair at Summit Avenue and 10th Street. Two northbound lanes on Summit Avenue between Texas Street and 7th Street will be closed during repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the weekend.

Service for The Dash begins this Month

Trinity Metro’s new electric bus, The Dash, will begin service on September 22. The zero-emissions service will operate every 15 minutes daily connecting stops between Downtown’s Fort Worth Central station to the Cultural District, including UNT Health Science Center and the new Dickies Arena. The Dash will operate Sunday through Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and will run until 12:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Fares will mirror other local buses: $2 one way or $5 for an unlimited-ride day pass. For more information, visit ridetrinitymetro.org.
