Tarrant County College to Host 5th Annual Fab Now Makerspace Conference

January 9,2019

Underscoring a commitment to serve the Tarrant County community, Tarrant County College will host the 5th annual Fab Now Makerspace Conference as part of its efforts to inspire students and community members.

Several sessions will be provided discussing why maker culture is taking over private homes, schools, libraries, and even community centers. Whether the making involves 3D printing, small electronic circuitry, or traditional handicrafts, making is here!

Unique events will also occur, including a competitive App-A-Thon where TCC students will design, develop and complete mobile applications as well as a Maker EXPO that will allow community members to interface with all facets of making and the business of these entrepreneurs.

Join us for the 5th annual Fab Now Makerspace Conference where we explore all that making means to individuals, academia, and the community.  Go to TCCD.edu/fabnow to register for the event today.  Registration is open to TCC employees, students, community members and expo exhibitors.  PDUs will be offered to all who attend.
