Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, water crews will conduct a fire hydrant leak repair at Summit Avenue and 10th Street. Two northbound lanes on Summit Avenue between Texas Street and 7th Street will be closed during repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the weekend.

The TTA Transit Academy is designed to equip everyone - from engaged community members to private- & public-sector leaders - with the tools to lead conversations about the value of multi-modal transit across the region and the emerging mass transit options that can address our mobility needs in Tarrant County. 

The Transit Academy is a 5-session, online program that includes the following – 

  • Economic & Social Impact of Transit in our Region - January 25, 5-8pm
  • Scanning the Landscape & Understanding the Current Reality - February 8, 5-8pm
  • Identifying Models of Success & Evaluating Options in Other Communities - February 22, 5-8pm
  • Creating the Conversation & Engaging the Community - March 8, 5-8pm
  • Taking Action & Getting Involved - March 22, 5-8pm

5 Online Sessions, Starting Jan 25 - REGISTRATION CLOSES Jan  22

Planners - Receive 15 APA CM Credits for participating in the Academy
