The T Appoints TEX Rail Chief Engineer and Director of TEX Rail Procurement

Richey Thompson, P.E., has been appointed TEX Rail Chief Engineer. Mr. Thompson is a professional engineer with 15 years of experience in the planning, design and construction of transit projects, including both light and commuter rail projects. Prior to joining The T, Richey worked for CH2M Hill, URS and CP&Y engineering consulting firms. Mr. Thompson received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University.

Theresa Smith has been appointed Director of TEX Rail Procurement. Working for the subcontractor Solis Group, Theresa has been involved with the TEX Rail project team since 2011 as Senior Document Control Specialist. Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Texas at Arlington.
