Work begins on Central Business District brick crosswalks

During the week of Aug. 24, workers will begin installing new white bricked crosswalks at the Main Street intersections of Eighth, Seventh, Fourth, Third, Second and First streets.

The work will progress from south to north, one intersection at a time, and traffic flow will be maintained with the use of flaggers. To avoid delays, consider using alternate routes. Work is expected to last six weeks, depending on weather and other factors.
