National Night Out will take on a new look this year. It’s going virtual.

Virtual National Night Out is planned for 6 p.m. Oct. 6. Fort Worth residents can watch the show live in several ways:

Guests joining Mayor Betsy Price include Fort Worth Police Department Assistant Chief Charles Ramirez, Fire Chief Jim Davis and Code Compliance Director Brandon Bennett.

Residents can submit questions before and during the show.

Neighbors are encouraged to participate in National Night Out by hosting neighborhood events virtually or in observance of state standards.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while fostering a true sense of community. The event provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Texas and select areas celebrate the first Tuesday in October.
