Ulrich Barn Builders is relocating their headquarters to Fort Worth. JLL secured a new 22,930-square-foot office sublease in the Pier 1 Imports Building, located at 100 Pier 1 Pace in Fort Worth, the firm announced Sept. 17.

Ulrich Barn Builders CEO and President Jonathan Ulrich leads the backyard storage and lifestyle structures, log cabin and tiny house manufacturing company, which is currently based in Cleburne, 30 miles south of their new office location.

“We chose Fort Worth as our nationwide headquarters as we felt it fit us as a company and also provided a thriving work force pool to accommodate growth in our Internet Shed Sales and Rent to Own divisions,” said Ulrich. “With growth both organically in Texas and recent acquisitions in California, Virginia and more in process, access to strong talent was high priority. This gives us the ability to grow to not only be the highest rated shed company in North America but also in the top 2 or 3 in terms of number of families served!”

JLL Senior Associate Cannon Camp and Vice President Jamie Galati secured the office lease on behalf of Ulrich Barn Builders. JLL Market Lead Todd Burnette and Managing Director Pat McDowell represented Pier 1 in the sublease.

“Ulrich Barn Builders is dedicated to delivering top-quality products in a manner that creates, as their company puts it, ‘Raving Fans,’” said Camp. “They have been able to excel at this by creating and maintaining an excellent and supportive culture and work environment for their team members. The Pier 1 Imports Building delivers not only a new, outstanding office space for them to work in, but provides great accessibility and nearby amenities for everyone to flourish. We’re thrilled to play a role in securing their new corporate home.”

Hertz Investment Group acquired the Pier 1 Imports Building, a 20-story iconic structure in the Central Business District of Fort Worth, from Hines of Houston in August
