The Downtown Rehabilitation program will repair damaged sidewalks, driveway aprons and curb and gutter, plus install ADA compliant curb ramps on select streets. It also includes new asphalt roadways and pavement markings.

Areas in red on the map have completed their concrete rehabilitation and will be milled and resurfaced with asphalt beginning in April 2022.

Streets marked in blue will begin concrete rehabilitation this year. Rehabilitation will include sidewalks and curb ramp removal and replacements. This work is being completed this year prior to the resurfacing of the asphalt in the following year.

Construction milling and overlaying will begin May 9 in the Northeast red area of the project and is scheduled to last three weeks. Once that area is complete the milling and overlaying will move to the Southeast red area.

October Project Update
ADA ramp work is continuing in the downtown areas working mainly on the northside. Paving crews have returned and are working on completing remaining streets in the following weeks including Jones, Belknap, Weatherford and 7th.
