Whitey Penn Supports Wheels for Wellness

Whitley Penn recently sponsored the Wheels for Wellness Downtown Fort Worth Benefit Car Show. 
 
“Wheels for Wellness leads a strong mission that raises awareness, brings resources to those in need, and saves lives. We are proud supporters of Wheels for Wellness and the drive to fight prostate cancer,” stated Larry G. Autrey, Whitley Penn Managing Partner.
 
The Downtown Fort Worth Benefit Car Show showcased 320-325 cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Special exhibits included a high-end Florida manufactured boat, Fort Worth Fire Department Truck, and a Fort Worth Police SWAT team armored vehicle. The organization’s Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) testing booth tested 145 men at this year’s event, 60 of whom said it was their first time being tested. Each year, typically 8-10% of those tested show up with a score over 4.0, which is a sign of potential prostate cancer. 
 
Awards were given to car and truck owners and a total of $24,000 was raised from sponsors, donations, and registration fees. Wheels for Wellness continues to accept donations in hopes to reach their goal of $80,000. To donate, click here.
