Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, water crews will conduct a fire hydrant leak repair at Summit Avenue and 10th Street. Two northbound lanes on Summit Avenue between Texas Street and 7th Street will be closed during repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the weekend.

MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival earns Zenith Award

The Texas Festivals and Events Association (TFEA), an official affiliate of the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), is a professional trade association for Texas-based festival and event planners, volunteers and suppliers. TFEA represents hundreds of festivals that occur yearly in the state of Texas.

Every year, the TFEA recognizes excellence in festival promotion campaigns through the Kaliff Zenith Marketing Awards Competition. This year, MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival received 17 total awards, including first place for the prestigious Zenith Award in their budget category. The Zenith Award is the TFEA’s number one, best-overall award category, and is judged based on event promotion and involvement of programs such as volunteers, education, entertainment, and community outreach.

MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival also received first place in Best Event Video Promotion, Best Children’s Programming, Best Promotional Poster, Best Organization Website, and Best Social Media Campaign.
